China loses to USA in Penalty kicks 5-4 which resulted in USA winning the Womens World Cup 99.
* Sometime this week Briana Scurry the goalkeeper of USA admitted to cheating during the penalty kicks but says that, "it's only cheating if you get caught." She stepped over the goal line several times befor the Chinese soccer players kicked the ball, which resulted to Briana Scurry saving a shot. By doing this Briana Scurry may have added insult to injury by mocking China that they didn't notice that Briana was cheated.
* Italian soccer player and striker for Juventus Alessandro Del Piero has signed a contract that will earn him $10 million pounds a season by the end of 2005.
* USA Women want a soccer league of their own despite starting a league will cost them over $50 million. The Winner of the Womens World Cup will also earned around $200,000 for winning the World Cup.
* Inter Milan will lose Pagliuca to Bologna but will get Peruzzi from Juventus.
